So much of the self-publishing space is focused on profit-making for large companies. It’s all about taking as much as possible from authors, to become rich at their expense. These people don’t care about books, which is why they make them as cheaply as possible.

We love books. We collect books. We want our rooms to be filled with bookshelves. We love old libraries, we love the smell of a just-opened brand new book. 

We want to work with authors who feel the same way about books that we do. We want to turn their manuscripts, art collections and photography portfolios into genuinely beautiful creations.

Book publishing is an art in itself. It involves real craftsmanship, of the old fashioned kind, even when using state-of-the-art modern digital technology like we do.

Self-publishing and online sales shouldn’t mean typical modern-day low quality, the uncaring cheapness that everyone has come to expect from the modern world. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be beautiful.
